Exploring gendered toys as a possible cause for violence against women, toys influencing children from a young age of what is expected from them. Girls toys were shown to promote physical attractiveness and nurturing skills whereas boys were violent and competitive.
Here I experiment with material vulnerability, recreating a doll in aluminium, form now strong as opposed to vulnerable in it's previous plastic form.
